I don't know exactly but it's a standard 30amp glass automotive fuse. SFE stands for Safety Fuse Enclosure, i.e. glass tube. I get that a lot with my cars that only have lap belts and a couple that have no seat belts at all. A collapsing steering column isn't going to make much of a difference if you're in a wreck bad enough to need one. I've never heard of it. How is it safer?

I'd swap out the faulty part(s) and leave well enough alone. No need to fix what ain't broke on an antique car.

Scott, see if you can find someone with a 3D printer. They aren't that expensive anymore and lots of hobbyists have them. It would be very simple to use your best lens as a template to produce new lenses.
