switch pitch trans

Hi all,
When I bought my 66 the carb linkage for the trans switch wasn't hooked up.... Plan to hook it up soon.. Is their also another switch for control of the switch pitch or is it all in the carb linkage?

425 toro heads

Quick question... Just picked up a set of B heads... Big valve for toronado

Did the 425 engine have two sets of heads or would these be for the 455 engine.

Re: Hard, late shifting into third gear

Hi again I also found the passing gear switch in the wrong position. It has no linckage hooked up to it and the trans thought we wanted passing gear...; Makes for weard shifting.
Make sure your switch is in the right position. Or hooked up to the carb.

Re: CV Boots; what is the best replacement

Don't waste time trying to rebuild your own... I just ordered a new axel at NAPA for my 66
around $ 80.00... If your boot is bad Your cv joint is probably in bad shape.
