Wondering what they are used for?
My guess is that I have either a 1969 or 1970 Toronado front frame with full suspension and 455 power-plant in my Ultravan. My question is out of curiosity. On the frame in between the lower control arm (on the passenger side) and the oil filter is a long rectangle (part of the frame) with two holes...

Tony, The first one I posted, Dave's Small Body HEI, converts your points type dizzy into a GM HEI dizzy. That way, it looks stock (not that it matters in your case) and installs and fits correctly because it's the correct dizzy for the engine. When I try that link I keep getting: biz164.inmotionho...

YES - They cut the front section off the Toronado frame with the entire power-plant and complete front suspension intact and mounted it in the back where the Corvair engine would have gone. They welded the inner tie-rods in place to keep the wheels fixed.
