I would leave well enough alone with a drip as small as that. I wouldn't trust anybody to open up a TH425 and know what to do these days.
I have had EXCELLENT results with Lucas transmission stop leak on small leaks like yours.

Check your ground connections first. Fluctuating gas gauge is usually caused by an iintermittent ground in the system.
Run a test wire bypassing the existing wiring and see if anything changes.
You may also have a float sticking or sending unit arm hanging up.

I don't know the answer to that question but I will say that if you're brakes are working properly now, I'd leave them alone. With one exception, every vehicle I own has single res m/c. I have never had a problem and I've never owned a modern vehicle. Make sure your brake system is in top shape and ...

Hi Janice. I'm also from Cleveland but have lived in Atlanta since high school. Don't be fooled into believing the myth that disc brakes are an upgrade. Many believe that stopping power will be increased and stopping distance will be shortened. In reality, disc brakes may lengthen stopping distance....

Do you have the headlight splash shields that protect the headlamps when the headlight doors are closed? I can't tell from the photo. Most cars seem to be missing them.

I suggest sending your original units to a rebuilder like Cardone.
Look up Applied GMC (new name now but I can't remember it). They offer rebuild services for the cv axles. Jim is an expert on GMC Motor Homes which utilize Toro drivetrain. He's extremely helpful.
