Re: Looking For Parts and Accessories Sources For 1966 Toron
That's really cool. What time zone are you in so I don't call too late or too early? I'll try to call you this week. I've only had it 3 weeks and I'm enjoying it a lot. I drove it on a 250 mile round trip yesterday and it runs smooth as silk. Not as comfortable or economical as the '56 Cadillac but ...

Re: What IS The Correct Radiator Cap Pressure For 1966 Toro?
I was leaning that way. I'll replace the 16lb cap that's on it with a 13 lb cap.
As for brake shoes, I can have the current shoes relined if necessary to make sure they are correct.

Re: How Do You Replace Headlights on 1966 Toro
Sorry Doc, I should have mentioned that I have the 1966 Olds FSM and it's completely silent on the procedure. It describes how to disassemble non working lights and housings and actuators but not how to change a bulb. My actuators work well going up and down and the ballast tank has enough reserve t...

What IS The Correct Radiator Cap Pressure For 1966 Toro?
The Owner's Manual says zilch about it. The FSM beats around the bush without specifically listing a required specification. Here is the only relevant quote I could find in the FSM in regard to testing a radiator cap: If cap fails to hold pressure within the range of 12-15 psi, replace the cap with ...

How Do You Replace Headlights on 1966 Toro
Seems like a silly question but how do you keep the headlights up without having them stay illuminated? I haven't tried yet but the only way I can figure is to turn them on and then disconnect the battery cables. Any other suggestions? The car has all it's original T-3 headlights but they suck. I dr...

Shrunk 'em further and Voila! Here they are.
The color is called Dubonnet. It's the color of the Toronado used in the '66 sales brochure.

Re: 1970 interior
See if you can locate the correct material from SMS Fabric in Oregon and have an upholsterer make a new interior using the old one for patterns. http://www.smsautofabrics.com/ I recently did this on a '56 Cadillac and it came out perfectly. SMS has perfect orginal fabrics with the correct colors an...

Looking For Parts and Accessories Sources For 1966 Toronado
I bought this low mileage 1966 Toronado about 3 weeks ago. It will be a daily driver alongside my 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and 1979 F100. I'm familiar with Fusick and USA Parts. Basically I'm looking for things like floor mats and miscellaneous model-specific parts. The Z shaped trim on the arm r...
