Re: For those who are restoring their car...

Here's a link to the DB catalog. Page 36 shows two versions of the double stripe and (I made a mistake) the '65-'66 Cadillac triple stripe.

Re: For those who are restoring their car...

Terra, the dual whitewalls were used on 1965 and 1966 Eldorados. (It's hard to tell there are two stripes in this picture unless you blow it up) Diamondback Tire makes will make them for you in any size you want on any radial tire you want. My Cadillac (pictured in this thread) has Diamondback tires...

Re: 66 Dual Master

OK, is the proportioning valve the brass thing in the lower right? Does '66 have one? Can the same one be used with dual mc?

Re: The Culprit -- Single MC

Rock Auto has the MC for $25-$50. Booster is $127 without a core.

Re: 66 Transmission overflow

If it's just overfilled by a couple ounces, I wouldn't worry about it. Let it run out til its at the right level.

Re: 66 Dual Master

I don't think you'll need a separate proportioning valve. Use a mc and booster from a 1969 Toro. The same two parts were used on disc brake cars and drum brake cars. Here's a thread on this site discussing the conversion. page 2 shows the finished conversion, http://www.toronado.org/forum/viewtopic....

Re: Need Rear Bumper and Left Taillight Assembly For '66 Toro

Hi Doc, thanks. I had my old one pressed back into shape and rechromed. I just got it back last week. Hopefully I can get the car to the body shop next week. I got the taillight assembly from Dorcey. The bumper looks so good I sort of wish I'd sprung for the $1100 to have the front one rechromed to ...
