Re: Toronado 66 headlight actuators

Hey François. How are your headlight actuators working for you? I’m almost done with my 66 and now I’m having trouble with mine. I took them apart and cleaned/lubed everything but I can’t get them to work properly. One of them opens if I apply direct vac to it. The other one will work sometimes with...

Re: 69 Toronado Quadrajet Secondaries Not Opening

As far as the headlights go I would check the dimmer switch. The power supply goes from the headlight switch to the dimmer switch. There should be three wires in the plug. Unplug the connector from the dimmer switch and see if you have power to one of them when the light switch is on.

I have an in line electric pump on my 51 Caddy in addition to the mechanical pump. I installed it originally for the ...

Re: 66 Floormat

Hey Otto. I wish I had known you were so close. We could have gotten together. I am just north of SA about one hour. I have vintage cadillacs too. I made a cardboard template for my floormat. Mine was shrunken away the same as yours. I cut the rubber material a little larger than the template and wo...

Re: 66 Floormat

If I hadn’t already redone the driver side I would probably go for it. But $500+ for the passenger side is a little steep for me.

Thanks for posting tho.
