Re: Toro A/C system
Thanks for your reply. Yes I was using 12oz cans so I guess I need over twice what I have. After looking at the chart in the book it looks like the high pressure should be around closer to 300. I’ll try adding some more refrigerant tomorrow. The poa valve was rebuilt for 134a so that’s good. Would t...

Toro A/C system
Anyone ever work on the ac system? I replaced the compressor, hoses, dryer, muffler and expansion valve. Had the poa valve rebuilt and flushed out and pressure tested the evaporator and condenser. So everything is basically new. Vacuumed down the system for 3 hours and let it sit overnight and it he...

Re: Anti-Theft Measures
I do like Otto.
Put a switch under the dash that will cut off the coil.
You can spend a lot more money and get a more expensive system but if someone wants it bad enough they will find a way around it.

Re: Vacuum Headlights
Since they open and close you can be assured the canisters are ok. Not sure if they are the same as the 66 but it sounds like you have a plumbing problem. Also they must not be locking open since when you accelerate hard they are fading due to vacuum loss. Sounds like someone hooked them up to direc...

Mine is not as bad as yours but has some dings that would have to be straightened. Easier fix.

That’s the passenger eject switch. In case of bad blind date.
Does the car have A/C? Possibly throttle solenoid. What is the wire spliced into? Where does it go?

Thanks Otto. I kinda figured that would be the case. Just wishful thinking.

66 Brakes?
I’m sure this has been discussed on here before but I’m not finding much in the searches. Has anyone gone to a dual master cylinder on a 66? I’m not talking about a disc conversion, just the mc swap. I’m wondering if there is a noticeable difference. I understand the safety aspect but I want to know...
