Congrats Christopher! Looks like a nice car. Especially like the carpet
How do you get it to hang upside down in the car port?

Re: German imported -66 headlight problem
Try eBay for the Service Manuals for the car. The headlights should not take 20+ sec. to open or close. Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check all the lines for cracks or loose fitting. As far as the switches, it’s impossible to tell from the pictures what they go to. They were added on...

Re: 67 Toro Rear Window Drain Outlet Caps
Not sure of what you’re talking about.
Are you referring to the drain tubes for the rear vent behind the back glass? If so Fusick has the tubes. There were no “caps” for them as that would defeat the purpose. The tubes drain the vent thru the trunk and out thru the sides of the trunk floor.

That’s a really cool find. Too bad the building wasn’t leak proof.

Sorry blcody. Nothing salvageable remains. The dash is cracked and all of the panels are missing. I was hoping they were in the trunk but no luck.

Re: Considering adding passenger-side rear view mirror
I too am having this same debate with myself. I bought the passenger mirror from Fusick but haven’t put it on yet because it doesn’t match the driver mirror. Add in the problem of symmetry as you state and I’m thinking I may just leave it in the box.

Re: 66 power window motor
You need to pull the door handle too. If you have a rear handle that one also has to come off.
They aren’t too bad coming off but putting the little bolt back in to replace them is a pain.
Also there is a screw under the chrome trim on the switch panel.
