Re: windlace, '66
Those plates go under the grill on the rear deck. They keep water from running down the deck lid hinges.

Re: Distributor Cap/Spark Plug Wires
Turn the ignition on and check to see if you’re getting + voltage at the coil. Are you sure that the dist. Is in the right position? Even if the firing order is correct, you could have put the wires in the wrong spots. Check for TDC and make sure the dist. matches up. Also check the points. They may...

Re: Car Shuts off on steep incline
If it turns out to be the pickup in the sender I was able to find one for the 66/67 Eldorado that worked fine.

Re: Car Shuts off on steep incline
Nope. That’s not normal. It sounds like a fuel problem. At first I would say fuel pump but since you replaced it... Maybe the pickup in the fuel tank is getting clogged. Do some tests like disconnect the fuel line at the carb and put it in a coffee can. Have someone turn the engine over and observe ...

Re: 66 interior fabric
SMS is where I got the materials for my 66. They also have carpet, headliner and trunk materials too.
They aren’t cheap but it’s correct.
