I got a 66'!
Good evening all, I just inherited my fathers 1966 Toronado and I'm pretty happy. He bought it from the original owner back in 1973 and now it's mine as he's downsizing as he gets older. I currently live in Nova Scotia, Canada. This was our family car back in the 70's and was stored every winter. It...

66' Headlamp dimmer switch
Good day all! I just got my 66' Toro and I noticed I have a bad headlight dimmer switch. It's preventing the low beam headlights from working. If I reach down and turn it a little, the lights come back on. I'm assuming the switch is bad. Does anyone know how to get that thing out though? It seems li...

Re: 1966 Olds Chassis Svc Manual / 1966 FISHER BODY Svc Manual
Odd, the 94 and 96 (Toronado) series information is missing from the Chassis service manual. My physical manual is exactly the same but adds the Toronado sections, which this online one omits.

Re: 66 California Toro vacuum lines
I saw that one! Really cool that's you.....
I thought you said during the video that it wasn't a California car......guess i misheard you.
Looks almost identical to our toronado, same colour and everything except ours has AC.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Good question. Did the 67 still use the 425? I would imagine it would be very similar if so.

Evening all! New member here. My father has a 1966 Toronado deluxe that he purchased as the second owner back in 1971. It was our family car until about 1980 and it has sat around fairly untouched since. We are in the process of getting it back in running order and I've found myself being directed t...
