Re: How To Fix Your Trunk Vent Drains

Mine are in good condition because I replaced them already  I used new hose clamps to hold my new rubber sections to the hard plastic sections and can run the hose through vents and the water pours out under the rear wheel wells. I do still have a leak of water underneath the rear deck lid some...

Re: Lug nut torque specs?

Thank you very much Otto. I looked through all the sections, specifically at the end of them at the torque specification areas. Don't know how I missed it now that you pin-pointed it for me. Again - appreciated.

Just bought my 66 this year and it had a set of bias-ply tires on it. I bought new whitewall radials for it and had them mounted on the rims for me. Now I'm tossing my wheels back on and can't find any torque setting for the lug nuts in the chassis service manual or the Fisher service manual. Thanks...

Re: water leak in trunk - 1966

Thanks for the quick response. I suspect it is the rubber seal to the decklid because the drain tubes are fine. I am going to tackle this issue in the upcoming months. I kind of guessed that I would have to remove the chrome trim around the window to remove the grille below the window. I know I have...

water leak in trunk - 1966

I have a water leak in my trunk. I've replaced the drain tubes and that's working fine. There is still some water leaking in that is dripping from where the louvers are below the rear window. I want to remove the metal body panel that is those louvers under the rear window. I know there are some sma...
