I drove it and it didn't bog down or anything but since I'm not familiar with driving one that's hooked up, I don't know what to look for.

I tested it before driving it and heard the two clicks as I moved the lever from the front stop toward the firewall.

Well, I finally located and installed a correct, working kickdown switch. I had to bend the rod a little to keep it from dragging on the manifold and hanging up the throttle. What is the correct windshield wiper position on a 1966 Toronado? Should driver side be on top or the other way around? There doesn't seem to be a "wrong" way to orient them but I'm sure there is a "right" way. By that I mean what was their position when installed at the factory?
