So what is the difference between a 1966 425 in a Toronado rated at 385 HP, and I regular 1966 425 rated at 375 HP? The bore and stroke are the same and the compression ratio is the same, according to my chiltons book. Where does the other 10 HP come from? Thanks

Will an Intake Manifold from a 455 fit the 425 from a Toronado? I know the 425 and the 455 are the same but wondering if the Toronado's were different then the regular 425, as far as bracket and things go, I would like to keep all the brackets original. Thanks

I took my 425 out of a 66 Toronado to the machine shop to get it cleaned up and checked out. The machinest who had been a machinest for about 15 years could only recall one other forged steel crank that he has worked on. How rare are they and were they used in both 66 and 67 toronados? I'm watching the "Rides" episodse where they do Jay's Toronado. They introduce it as a 66 and when I google it it comes up as a 66 but to me it looks like a 67... No eyebrows over the headlights and the taillights have the cross-hatch pattern on them.. whats up with that?

I am looking for the rear tail-panel that goes around and above the taillights on a 66 Toronado, I do not need the taillights just the panel. Thanks
