Re: Makin' it happen
No. I haven't had to redo my suspension. Are they too small in diameter or too short? What did you do? What did Steele say about it? Were you able to find the correct size elsewhere? the factory bushings are around 1- 5/8"in diameter, the ones they are selling are only 1-1/2" (part# 70-33...

Body to shackle bushings (upper) and shackle to spring bushings (lower). http://www.steelerubber.com/suspension-bushing-70-3345-35 did you ordered them? i boug...

Re: th425 550hp /600 tq
hey there,
found something interesting. seems like those guys did a set of headers for a 1966 toronado:

shorty style headers...would that make a big difference compared to stock manifolds?

Re: GT heads casting mark
head code of a 1970 GT should be "E".
its got the big valve E-heads and the letter should be found on drivers side. you may remove the alternator brackets to gain access

Re: 1970 gas tank
you could also try to find a gas tank from a 1969 toronado. not sure about earlier models but 1969 will also fit. not very helpful but i hope it will make the search a bit easier. 1970 models are hard to find...ask me how i know  theres also John Dorcey in Las Vegas. you can find him on faceboo...

Re: CV axle shaft assembly questions
former owner had the pump replaced, installed shift kit and tighter converter i'm not afraid of the work but the pump itself would be like half the price of the power drive kit (around 800$ for the kit), so i would like so skip that if possible. i'm planning to use the kit as intended, i.e. getting ...
