Re: 66 headlight openers

I solved the problem.............. Originally their was a vac check valve in the line to the opening side of the cylinder.( no longer available)
I put a tee in that line with a Vacuum check valve on the branch of that tee. It now releases the vacuum when the switch is shut off.

heater vac controls

Hi guys

I'm working on my dash cluster.............Does anybody have a diagram of the vacuum connections on the side of the heater/ac control unit.
I know they are numbered but I can't read them. Their is 5 ports on that round piece where the vac lines plug in.
Oh this is a 1966 toro.

Thanks

66 headlight openers

Got my headlight working great. Open fast but close very slow.............I believe their was originally a check valve that would release the vac. to let them close faster. Has anyone figured out a way to solve this problem??

Re: Floor Pans

Just had my floor pan replaced..........Under drivers foot area and behind front seat. Bought two pieces of 18ga sheet metal.

Had my local body shop install them. Came out great. No more holes.... Cost $320

Re: 1969 questions

Just had my drum brakes completely rebuilt with good quality pads. It takes a little time for them to ware in. Also you need to have your kick down switch working to change the stall setting of the switch pitch to prevent the creep that makes it harder to brake at idle. I noticed the difference when...
