That is nice work. I can imagine a library being built,
of such parts that so often are damaged or missing.

Re: Ein paar Bilder von meinem Toronado
I'm going to my mechanic next week to change the oil pan gaskets. He says you have to take the whole engine out to do this job. There is no other way with this model  Since he learned his trade here at GM Suisse and has worked with American cars for 40 years, I believe him. Has anyone done t...

Re: 1966 Heater Core Hoses
Most cars here just use standard hose cut to length, one is 1/2 in ID, the other is 5/8 in ID. Earlier cars had a thermostat cover using a short molded curved hose, this can be replaced with a housing using a steel curved pipe + straight hose, I have a few of these. For more info on my Electronic Sw...

1966 Toronado fan speed only high
My 67 manual says the speed switch goes to a couple resistors (no doubt located in the air stream) and the motor direct. I would unplug the resistors and see if the motor stays on high, if so the problem may be in the switch. HOWEVER, I have seen variations where a relay is added, that the switch ac...

The cross over shaft and mounting brackets are different, but it
will work if you change them as a set. Same situation with Cad
Eldorado, which required different brackets than Olds. Bruce Roe

Re: Hello from Germany!
I suffered those points ignitions when those cars were built. Soon I was building electronic ignitions for them. Now days, I would just drop in an HEI from a 77-79 Olds 350, available new or rebuilt. Not for a 403, has a poor advance curve. The problem with that car is clearing the air cleaner, migh...

Re: Oil Restricters
I put in a high volume oil pump with stronger hex shaft. This is
not to get more pressure, but I feel it better maintains pressure
esp with some wear at idle. Good results in small blocks for
decades. Bruce Roe
