Anyone looking for NOS grilles for 1969??
There’s a pair on EBay for sale starting $300. I’ve used this seller before very honest and nice up front guy to deal with. He’s in NJ. Pair of the front pop up light grilled for 1969. Will fit 68 but not correct pattern

Re: 66Toro Name That Part.
The main purpose of those two flaps is so that when the headlights are retracted (down) they aren’t visible behind the grille. It keeps the hidden lights “hidden”. It has nothing to do with debris or otherwise. I’ve seen quite a few cars where those flaps are missing and it spoils the whole look of ...

Own a 1966 Toronado. Has anyone here used GSP Axles?
What I liked about them is that they look almost identical to the original 1966 Axles, round inboard design and the boots have multiple folds in inner an outer joints as OEM did in 1966. I've found the replacement boots love to fall off!! IMO they aren't fexible enough and when making an extreme tur...

Re: lower ball joints STUCK
Here's the best way to do this...... WOrks like a charm. With the suspension jacked up, wheel removed etc... take the cotter pin out of the ball joint. Loosen the nut about 4-5 turns. DO NOT support the lower arm as the torsion bars tension will help the joint come loose as its a big spring. Now put...

Re: 1966 Toronado No reverse and no 3rd gear
do you think its a pressure problem?? Now that you mentioned it I had a 1965 thunderbird that when cold would NOT go into reverse and it didnt go into third until it warmed up. My toronado dosnt go into reverse or 3rd at all but it was shifting fine and didnt slip or anything. It seemed at the end t...

1966 Toronado No reverse and no 3rd gear
I wanted to know if anything can be done without taking this apart and rebuilding it? When I shift it into reverse I hear like the drum/clutch engaging but nothing happens, engine just revs up. When in drive it goes fine in first (NO SLIPPING) and shifts nicely into second but no third gear. I have ...

Re: 1979 oldsmobile tornado wont start randomly
It might be the module under the distributor cap! GMs are notorious for running fine then all of a sudden when warm they drop dead and wont start (NO SPARK). If you let it cool down 5-10+ minutes they often restart and run perfectly (till the next time). when you encounter this problem next time, pu...
