Hi and thanks for the replies. I agree it doesn't seem to be the original trans (not sure about the engine) since it has been sitting since 78 I don't think it is a replica. I haven't been able to get started on it yet, but I'm hoping to get started soon (going to sell my 72 chevelle to fund it) Tho...

yup it was at Harwell motors (now called something different) i saw it when i bought my 72 chevelle couldn't resist buying it too. the only other w-34 i know of in Australia was 1 in Sydney. I think it was restored and painted blue though. guy wanted $65k for it.
