Switch pitch tuning adjustment
Ok, been trying to get my switch pitch working correct
in my 66 Toro, if I get it to work stall wise the kickdown
doesnt work properly and vice versa.
Do we have any switch pitch gurus here?
I have another switch on the way in the mail, and
hopefully it gets better....

Sounds nice, please let us know how everything turns out:) And you seem to be the guy to ask.... If I want more power in my 1966, would the Edelbrock heads and the intake you have bolt on tio my 425? There is something about the 1966 Toro engine, Evrewhere I look for cams etc it says : Not Toronado ...

I had the exact same problem, but I solved it this weekend! Try finding a diffrent hole in the carb for the transmission control lever, it should line up with the throttle cable. My was just underneith the throttle cable holeand I couldnt see it right away, someone put in a diffrent hole on the carb...
