I just added another Olds to my collection, although not a Toronado, Its a 1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible, it will give me something to drive and take to cars shows while i continue the restoration on the 70 Toro gt.
I haven't mounted them yet, still getting my rims blasted and painted but from my understanding they are very minimal difference in height but are a little wider.
Just finished disassembling my engine, the oil pump pick up screen is full of the plastic from the timing gear, my question is are all 455 pick up screens the same or is the toronado screen deeper due to the fact the bigger oil capacity of the toro oil pan?
Thanks for the offer but it would cost me way to much to pick it up, and for $500.00 i can get a new radiator so i will probably go that route but thanks anyway!!
I have a 5.7 diesel engine DX block the engine came out of a delta 88. it has been out of the car for many years it was running when it was pulled out, I am in Utah
I am in the process of cleaning up my rims to repaint them and i noticed that one rim is little different on the lip, what i mean buy that is three of my rims have a very curved lip and one is almost straight. these are of a 1970. I would like to get them Chromed but it seem to be very expensive!!
