Re: 1967- Coolant Leak from unknown part name
Yeah, Bruce, I know what you mean. Being from Edmonton, winters do get a tad brisk up here, too  I guess I'm a purist for functionality at heart; but whenever I want the fan to blow right away, I just slip the Comfortron lever to DE-ICE -- and it bypasses all of that thermal switch stuff and gi...

Re: 1967- Coolant Leak from unknown part name
The hot water valve for the regular pushbutton air-conditioning is usually the easy one to find. The one that is very hard to find and can be quite pricey on eBay is the hot water valve for the Comfortron automatic air-conditioning system because it also has a thermal vacuum switch on it that doesn'...

Re: New Member in Iowa
Congratulations on joining what is sometimes called the "gentleman's luxury muscle car" fraternity -- and sorority, for that matter -- for all the ladies who love boiling the tires on these behemoths, too! I very nearly bought a '76 in my youth, but alas, the payments were a bit too ...

Re: What tires to go with?
Hi Shane:
I have a 70 Toro GT and have the (larger than normal) 235 tires on it; I wish I could tell you specifically where I read it, but I thought 235 is as big as you can go on these Gen 1 Toros.
Can anyone else in the TOA help out here?
Greg

Nice 1966 for sale in Edmonton
I've seen interior pix of this one -- it's mighty clean and pristine --
