The Trofeo is just a trim level. Upgrading to that package got you luxury and appearance type items, items that could be ordered on a standard Toronado anyway. It included a slightly different front fascia and ground effects, lending the car a slightly sportier look. I am looking at a 90 Toronado it...

Okay. I've just never experienced that before, but never had a car with drum brakes, so I wasn't sure if I should be worried or not. It may be helpful to pull the drums and shoes to clean and lube the backing plates where the shoes contact the backing plate. Be careful, the shoes may contain asbest...

Get a vacuum gauge and connect it to the biggest connection you can that has manifold vacuum-the line that supplies the brake booster is a good one. Not a bit. I only purchased the vehicle a couple months ago, prior to which it had been sitting in a garage for about 10 years. How do you check vacuum...

Check the intake manifold vacuum level at idle. Any vacuum leaks will kill gas mileage and drivability. Alright, if I'm only getting 7 mpg city (and I don't drive like a maniac, I have to obey base speed limit which is 30 mph most of the time), is this a sign of mechanical problems? Any likely probl...

I'd try running 87 or 89 in your car while listening for spark knock if the expense of premium bothers you. If you get spark knock, back off the timing a degree or two. Don't waste your money on octane boosters-at best, they will do absolutely nothing for you. I wouldn't sweat a lead substitute unle...
