About 1" beside the headrest mountings, there are the cuts for the mounts for the rear panel.

The back panel is screwed there. Seems it is not clipped or pressed enough into the clamps on top.

Maybe it's not common knowledge yet: John Dorcey has been fired for his "Toronado Heaven". He has until January 2024 to clear the junkyard in Las Vegas. The Toronado community hopes to continue to exist in another place.

If your carpet was black, you can purchase a new one at Rockauto. Or try Ebay motors. Your rubber/metal tray for the drivers feet is gone, I guess. Its only screwed in the floor through the carpet. Think, Janice, your car need a interior clean up - better a new carpet. The rubber from your gas pedal is broken. It will not hold it in place any more. Ask John Dorcey for a better gas pedal or glue iyour pedal with a rubber like PU stuff (after you done the new carpet). That works as long you don´...

Check ignition - timing, good or better new spark plugs, cap, rotor and contact. If your ignition is fine look closer to the carb and fuel pump. Rochester of the first years tend to leak into the manifold. No fuel in the bowl then. Edelbrock is a wrong choice. Bad hood clearance and original airfilt...
