Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Thank you Otto. I do and I don't with this car even though my statement probably doesn't make sense. I'll keep my eye peeled on Craigslist and eBay as well which I have been doing now. Thank you again.

Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Hello everyone, this would be my first GM if I were to get this Toronado down the road. The other cars are a 1979 Chrysler Cordoba with 360 4bbl and 1991 Lincoln Mark VII with 49k original miles. I've been mainly a Mopar person but, like other makes as well. Many years ago I almost bought a 70 Toron...

Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Hello to answer some of your questions. It would be a mix of both with regards to work on the car. The bigger stuff I would have shops do it or at least that is the plan. I could deal without the AC for a while. As far as what my top dollar would be for restoring the car? I'm not sure not with regar...

Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Thank you all. The seller would take $4300. What do other board members think? I think 4k is top dollar but, still a little high. Additional thoughts?

Re: '66 Toronado Seat Covers
Thank you everyone. The seats in the car are full vinyl as a matter of fact. I did send SMS a message last night so we'll see what they say later in the week. Take care.

Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Thank you everyone. I've already been pricing out parts and it's adding up pretty quick. The reason why I'm considering the car is that it is fairly close to me which involves no shipping from out of state plus, the other positive is that I was able to lay eyes on the car. If the seller would work o...

Re: '66 Toronado Seat Covers
Thank you Otto. I was figuring that is what would be stated. The reason why I was asking is so I could at least include a rough cost into the selling price of a Toronado I'm debating.

Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Rust bubble on the trunk. The car originally came from California but, has been here in the Midwest for a few years. It's pretty solid but, still I don't know.

Re: Considering a '66 Toronado
Here's some pictures to show what I'm talking about. The car is a base model with no tilt, cruise, or power windows.
