Front Wheel Bearings
On the 69, are the inner and outer bearings and races pressed into the rotor/hub, just like on rear wheel drive cars?

The ones that we are trying to repair or replace are around the opening in the bumper where the headlight doors are. We have an old parts list and they call them gravel guards. We are also trying to find out what type of plastic they were made out of so we might be able to repair and I wrote to GM b...

We are working on a 1969 toronado and as far as we can tell the gravel guards behind the front grilles are not available. Ours have a lot of cracks in them and we would like to see if anyone knows what type of plastic was used to make them, so we can either get an epoxy or possibly a plastic welder ...

What did you use for the top pin to the doors? I tried using a 1/4-20 X 3" bolt, but it binds up on the threads.
