Re: replacing the stall or torque converter
I've pulled a sbc 383, 350 and various v6's before, and I've got a few nhra racers and mechanics helping me as well so I'm pretty solid as far as that's concerned but I live in Denver Colorado, I've met a few guys on here as well as the owner of this page. Still I was just wondering for the most for...

replacing the stall or torque converter
So I have my engine apart. Been having some issues with deciding if I should pull the tranny with the engine. Not sure where the access point is to install the torque converter. If there isn't one wouldn't it be easier to pull and stab the tranny out side of the engine bay? Also what's the best way ...

I though something was wrong I though as ouch power there is behind it that she would have a lot more pull then what she'...

69 TH425 slipping?
So I've finally got my 69 Toro up and running. but I've noticed she's shifting hard into gear, and not sure if 3rd is slipping or prematurely shifting... As well it takes till I hit 30mph before she shifts same speed every time, and she's getting really "spongy" in drive. I pretty much hav...

Re: Re gearing the "final drive"
Read the page I posted... The motor homes use the same engine and transmissions as the toronados and Eldorado so they sell the final drive kit which they already produce and sell it as a proformance upgrade for toro's and eldor's and since its almost impossible to find a better and more fun ratio wh...
