White stripe tires in 235/75/15 are becoming harder and harder to find. I just purchased a set of Cooper Trendsetters for my car. Hankook has discontinued the Optimo in that size with the white stripe. They still offer a white stripe on the Kinergy. Nexen offers a white stripe as well. The only othe...

Lower Radiator Hose

What's the deal with the lower radiator hose for the 1966 Toronado? Napa, Advance Auto Parts, Rock Auto, and O'Reilly Auto Parts don't have one so I assume it isn't made. Does anybody know a substitute or another hose part number that can be cut to fit? I really don't like those ribbed flex hoses if...

Re: Fuel Sending Unit

I contacted a couple, but the good ones charge about $600. I did it myself with some tank sealer and vacuumed out the dirt that was sitting at the bottom so no more of it can go inside the fuel filters or carburetor. Oh ya, I remember now. I forgot that you used the sloshing compound. I did that wi...

Re: remote mirror escutcheon, or bezel

I have had very good luck finding oddball fasteners at Ace Hardware. Failing that, try these sources: Mr. G’s Enterprises Automotive fasteners, of all types 5613 Elliot Reeder Road Fort Worth, Texas 76117-6013 817-831-3501 or 817-838-3131 https://mrgusa.com/ Fastener Connection Weatherstrip, fender ...
