Re: 66 headlight doeasn't go totally down

Thanks Otto. It was forced open in an emergency, pass side lights burnt out at night and I needed to drive home. :( My fault for going for a ride with one up and one down. I will start with removing the vac can. I have two good working vacuum actuators and arms from my parts car. Hopefully I didn't ...

66 headlight doeasn't go totally down

All four lights lights up, and both sides go up and down, but the drivers side was stuck when I bought it. I unstuck it with some force and a lot of spray oil. Now it doesn't fully retract. Any ideas before I just go tearing into it? Pass side is 100% functional and can be used as a reference if nee...

Re: How Do You Replace Headlights on 1966 Toro

There was enough dirt stuck in the rings and behind the bezels in general to make a couple good size mud pies. I just did the same trick on Sunday, replacing both low beams. mine too had at least 30 years worth of accumulated mud pie dust in each ring. I just left the lights on and engine running t...

Re: 1966 for sale on Ebay

It went for $7400. That seems a bit low in my opinion, but like I said it was a low optioned car.

Re: 1966 for sale on Ebay

Its a really good looking body, and I've never seen a 1966 Toronado without power windows before.

Its really neat, but one of the things I love about my car is all of the fancy do dads like AC PS PW PL tilt tele etc...

I just don't know how strong it appeals to me without the luxury options.

1966 for sale on Ebay

Its not mine, but I might bid on it.
Its a gorgeous Gold 66 with black interior. Pretty plain inside, not a ton of options. It seems nicer than mine, hopefully it goes to a great home.

The techron is good stuff. I'm more concerned with using 100% gas and not 10% ethanol in our older cars.
